To recycle electronics in Newberg and Dundee:
Electronics recycling is offered Saturdays only from 8 am to 5 pm at the
Newberg Garbage & Recycling Service Public Recycling Depot, 2904 Wynooski
Road. There is no charge for computer systems (all types), up to two monitors,
keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, ink and toner cartridges, fax machines, cell
phones, telephones and related equipment, VCRs and DVD players, radios,
stereos and speakers, CDs, DVDs, disks, and video cassettes. You must call,
Monday through Friday, to schedule recycling for large quantities of electronics
or for more than two monitors. Fee applies. The following electronic
equipment cannot be recycled at the depot: Televisions, copy machines,
microwaves, and home appliances. These electronics are accepted at the
transfer site, Monday through Saturday, for a fee. For questions on electronics

and 8 am to 4 pm November through March at WOW's Recovery Zone, 2200
NE Orchard Ave. They accept computer systems (all types), keyboards, mice,
printers, ink and toner cartridges, cell phones, telephones and related equipment,
VCRs and DVD players, radios, stereos and speakers, CDs, DVDs, disks,
and video cassettes. Monitors are accepted for McMinnville, Dayton and
Amity customers for no fee; all others must pay $10 per monitor. Home
appliances are accepted for a fee ($25 for fridges and freezers; $10 all
others). Microwaves and copy machines are accepted as scrap metal
(no fee), and televisions are accepted as trash (regular trash fees apply).
