Answers:
Q: When I'm in school, I see a lot of kids throwing out paper instead of recycling. What can I do?
A: Ask your teacher and other kids to help you. Make sure the recycling bin is
located in an easy-to-reach place in the classroom. Decorate it to draw
attention to it as a reminder to the other students to recycle. And ask your
teacher if you and the other students could make signs to hang around the
classroom as reminders (using recycled paper, of course!). Let your teacher know
that by saving 8,500 sheets of paper, you would be saving one whole tree! Set a
goal to see if your class can save a tree this year. Good luck! Our forests our
counting on great kids like you!
